Honda Stream: RN Chassis Codes and Parts Fitment
The Honda Stream is a practical seven-seater that has held on well in Jamaica, and parts demand stays steady. The important thing when ordering is the RN chassis code — it identifies the generation and engine, and body parts do not cross between the two generations.
Two generations, different parts
The first-generation Stream carries RN1 to RN5 codes; the second generation runs RN6 and up. The generations differ in body panels, lighting and interior, so a part from the wrong generation will not fit even though both are called Stream.
- First generation: RN1–RN5

Engines
Earlier Streams commonly run the 1.7 D17A or the 2.0 K20A; later cars use the R-series 1.8 or 2.0. Engine ancillaries, mounts and cooling parts follow the engine, so quote the engine code when ordering anything that bolts to it.
