"Removed to Order": How Dismantle Parts Work

If you have browsed our catalogue you will have seen some parts marked "removed to order". That is not a trick or a way of saying we do not have it. It is us being straight with you about where the part is, because that changes what you should expect.

What it means

A dismantler buys whole vehicles and strips them. Some parts come off immediately and go on a shelf — the fast movers. Everything else stays on the car until somebody actually wants it, because a complete dashboard or a door takes up a lot of room and is easier to protect where it is.

  • On the shelf — ready now, you can see it today
  • Removed to order — still on the vehicle until you ask for it
  • Both are real parts we can supply
  • The difference is how quickly you can collect

Why it is actually better for you

A part left on the car has not been dragged around a yard, stacked, or had things put on top of it. Interior trim, glass and body panels in particular survive far better in place than in a pile. When you order, it comes off cleanly with the right tools instead of being pulled in a hurry.

What to expect when you order one

Message us first. We confirm the vehicle is still there and the part is in the condition you need, then agree a time. Removal usually takes hours rather than days, but it is not instant — so do not drive across the island expecting to collect it the same minute.

  • Always confirm on WhatsApp before travelling
  • Ask for a photo of the actual part before you commit
  • Agree the condition and the price up front
  • Allow time for removal — it is not a shelf item

Ask about condition, always

Used is used. We will tell you honestly what a part looks like, and we would rather send you a photo than have you turn up disappointed. If a panel has a dent or a light has a chip, you will hear it from us first.

Frequently asked

Does "removed to order" mean you do not have it?

No. It means the part is still fitted to a vehicle in our yard rather than sitting on a shelf. We remove it when you order it.

How long does it take to get a removed-to-order part?

Usually hours rather than days, but message us first so we can confirm the vehicle and agree a time. Do not travel expecting to collect one immediately.

Can I see the part before I pay?

Yes. Ask for a photo on WhatsApp and we will send one of the actual part before you commit.

Need this part for your car?

Send your chassis number on WhatsApp and we confirm fitment and price.
