The Corolla Axio and the Corolla Fielder are the same car underneath with two different bodies — the Axio is the saloon and the Fielder is the wagon. That makes mechanical parts easy and body parts a common source of mistakes. As always, the chassis number settles it.

Engines, gearboxes, suspension and most running gear cross between the Axio and Fielder of the same generation. Rear body panels, glass, tailgate and lighting do not — the wagon and the saloon part ways from the B-pillar back.

Engines
